Our goal is to serve God by helping children to develop a relationship with Him,
to sense His presence, and to understand and enjoy God’s closeness.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MONTESSORI IS RIGHT FOR MY CHILD?
Learning takes place naturally in this family-like setting.
The focus is on Christian Character development and community life, giving children opportunities to work together cooperatively in a non-competitive setting. Children appreciate the sense of belonging they feel when they are a contributing factor to the group. In a multi-age classroom, children become sensitive to each other’s needs and help each other learn new skills. Younger children see possibilities for the future as they observe older children. Older children benefit by having opportunities to revisit activities and reinforce what they have already learned. Children are compared only with their own past accomplishments. These factors contribute to the emotional,
social and intellectual growth of all the children.
“A friend loves at all times...” - Proverbs 17:17
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
The teachers and staff at Busy Little Hands Montessori truly make this place a special one. I have sent my oldest son from when he was two through Kindergarten and have been amazed at not only the quality of teaching but also the development of his character over the years. It was important for me to be sure that my children felt safe and trusting of their teachers and caretakers while I am away from them. It was easy for me to see that not only did they develop a loving and trustworthy bond with their teachers, but they came home every day with new teachings and values of the Christian faith. Now, my oldest son thrives in 1st grade and is one of the advanced students in his class. But more importantly, he has a healthy and joyful relationship with his friends and family around him which no curriculum can teach.
