Learning takes place naturally in this family-like setting.
The focus is on Christian Character development and community life, giving children opportunities to work together cooperatively in a non-competitive setting. Children appreciate the sense of belonging they feel when they are a contributing factor to the group. In a multi-age classroom, children become sensitive to each other’s needs and help each other learn new skills. Younger children see possibilities for the future as they observe older children. Older children benefit by having opportunities to revisit activities and reinforce what they have already learned. Children are compared only with their own past accomplishments.
